2025-12-07

Adapted into a Hurricane Melissa relief effort; Christmas Grand Market brings Caribbean traditions, food, music, artists and community together—this year with a mission to support families in Western Jamaica.

OVERVIEW

Originally a Jamaican tradition, Christmas Grand Market has been reimagined by Braata Productions as a celebration of Caribbean Christmas Traditions at large. By bringing together holiday customs and artists from various countries, Grand Market is an annual opportunity to connect generations and cultures in the holiday spirit. It includes a market with over 10 vendors, a Jonkanoo parade, and a Caribbean Christmas Concert.

This year for our 13th installation, Christmas Grand Market is more than a celebration– but a call to action. After the catastrophic damage brought by Hurricane Melissa, this year Grand Market will include a relief concert– mobilizing aid for on the ground efforts to Western Jamaica.
We’ll have donation barrels as part of our relief drive available at the event. Feel free to bring non-perishable food for the emergency drive or help us clear out our Amazon Relief Registry on-site.
