March 13 - 29, 2025. StandPipe is a dramatic work inspired by the artwork of Trinidadian painter David Moore’s work of the same title. Through monologues, songs, dance, poetry and vignettes, we navigate an artist's need to connect to his cultural upbringing to find creative inspiration.
Set in rural Jamaica. The audience journeys into the painting to learn the lives of the people represented and explores the themes of community, love, religion, relationships, education, wealth and poverty.
