Javaun Harewood
A New York City Gem, Javaun was born into the duality of Trinidadian and American Culture. The pairing exposed him to music both instinctually and academically, trail blazing NYC’s finest performing arts High School (LaGuardia High School for Performing Arts) as the program’s first steel pannist. Fresh off stages, including Google, Kings Theatre and the Fillmore he is expanding his craft in the inaugural class of Berklee College of Music's NYC-based Masters program. Ecstatic about the current step in his journey, his highly anticipated first EP “SUPAHERO” is set for release this year introducing audiences to his sound not just as a musician but as a true artisté. The project is meant to save the world one song at a time, for music is love and that is something the world cannot exist without!
